This camera is easy to install and easy to use. If you don’t want the added features of the software that comes with it, just connect the camera to a USB port and start using it. It works very well with Skype and g-mail video web chat. No need to install any software. The picture is clear, although in larger formats it’s a bit “pixely.” The support to install it on your monitor is very flexible, but it doesn’t secure the camera. On the other hand, there’s nowhere to secure it on my monitor anyway. I highly recommend you consider it. The price was great, plus no tax and no shipping charges.

I travel alot as a Mfg. Engineer, I needed a compact camera to carry in my protector without bulge. It was easy to install, easy to use but is not the best quality video. But for the price it is a great purchase. The autofocus causes pic to go in and out a few times adjusting but otherwise is great. perfect for everything except excellent video quality.

Last things first. The webcam picture quality is very good and the included ArcSoft software has several interesting features such as Monitor which turns on video recording when motion is detected and Masque which allow you to create custom backgrounds to use during video chat. The Masque backgrounds will superimpose your face on the backgrounds in an area defined when it is created. The difficulty with this product was the installation. The ArcSoft software installs several applications besides the needed webcam drivers. You have to reboot your computer after the installation and in my case things still didn’t work until I re-installed and rebooted (this is on Windows Vista). Seemed like a lot of time and effort just to get the web cam running but as stated above, the end results are a decent webcam and capture software. I was disappointed that the webcam did not come with any audio customization software to allow changing voice pitch, etc., given it has a built-in microphone.

This camera is everything I expected, the picture quality is great, it’s easy to install, and the sound quality is good too. Great Camera. =)

The picture quality isn’t as great as i thought but it does the job. The clip is a bit of a hassle, sometimes. It was pretty easy to install and I had no problems with it. The built-in mic works good and the sound quality is pretty clear. Over all i would say it’s a good webcam.
